Iris Evans Photography

In 2019, I picked up a camera for a family trip to Yosemite, Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Parks. After that trip, my camera started going with me whenever I spent time in the outdoors. Over the years, I took several classes under Erin Hogue, a National Geographic Photographer. Realizing some of my favorite outdoor adventure photos I’ve taken are of my dogs, Scout and Cocoa, I began volunteering for local rescues capturing adoptable dog’s personalities to help them find their forever homes. Recently, I participated in Claudio Piccoli’s Dogs in Action workshop in Seaside, Oregon and continue to engage in his online community and courses. Combining my love for dogs, the outdoors, and taking photographs is a dream come true!
